The Association for Supporting Modern Life Ankara branch opened its new location on March 8 th -International Women’s Day. Journalist Işık Kansu from the Cumhuriyet Journal attended the opening.
The Association to Support Contemporary Life (ÇYDD) held an evening for their 31st anniversary and thanked all their supporters that gave them a hand in their endeavor to create a contemporary society.
Şeyma Kara will be part of a program that 80 students from around the world and only 2 students from Turkey will be able to join.
Women of Turkish origin in Germany have a low profile in every domain. This leads to their having to struggle in everything they do. They face injustice, oppression, inequality, persistent religious, cultural and sexist traditions.
‘Every Girl is a Star’ project was brought to life in 2004 between the Association for Supporting Contemporary Life (ÇYDD) and Mercedes-Benz Turk and this year, the first get together of 2020 with the ‘Star Girls’, was held in Izmir.
The Association for the Support of Modern Life, Gaziosmanpaşa Branch supporters Necdet Ersoy and Gülay Ersoy donated the ÇYDD Utku Ersoy Activity Center in memory of their son Utku Ersoy.
An evening of celebration was organized on December 14, 2019 at the Hikmet Şimşek Arts Center.
ÇYDD became the recipient of the Transparency Award which is given to support the fight against corruption
Our Bolu Branch supporters Dr.Tuncay Özbakır and Turgay Özbakır donated the apartment suit for the center and with support from many of our other donors it was turned into a blue and white painted activity center.
