Contemporary Youth once again says "We are here!"; to Atatürk on the 100th anniversary of the Republic.

The 15th of ÇYDD Contemporary Youth Traditional Anıtkabir Meetings took place on November 4,
2023, with the coordination of the Contemporary Youth Central Unit, our Ankara branches and Youth
Units, and CAGDAS YASAMI DESTEKLEME DERNEGI (ÇYDD) Branches and Headquarters.
Contemporary Youth once again says "We are here!" to Atatürk on the 100th anniversary of the
Republic.

The program held in Anıtkabir was attended by ÇYDD President Prof. Dr. Ayşe Yüksel, Headquarters
Board Members, Branch Board Members, and 2500 young people from 85 ÇYDD Branches all over
Turkey . Young people met in Tandoğan Square in the morning and started walking from Lion Road to
Anıtkabir at 13.30. Then, a wreath written "CAGDAS YASAMI DESTEKLEME DERNEGI" was left at the
Mausoleum with an official ceremony and a moment of silence was observed.
Contemporary Youth General Facilitator Kardelen Özdemir signed the Anıtkabir notebook, stating
Contemporary Youth's determination to protect the Republic and loyalty to Atatürk.

Contemporary Youth General Facilitator Kardelen Özdemir included the following words in her
speech titled "the Message of Youth":

We are in the presence of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the beloved founder of our Eternal Republic,
on the 85th anniversary of your leaving the world physically and reaching the roots of our nation
spiritually, in the first days of the second century of your greatest work, the Republic.

As Contemporary Youth, who grew up under the wings of Türkan Saylan and her companions in
CAGDAS YASAMI DESTEKLEME DERNEGI we are here today in Anıtkabir. Our association has come to
this day by standing tall against all kinds of conspiracies and traps, thanks to our managers and
members who embrace national values and try to transfer these values to the youth until the last
stage of their power. Our association showed us, young people, how the achievements of the
republic and Ataturk's principles should be defended with care and patience. We are making this
important visit for our Republic, our history and our future, with the strength and light we receive
from you, our youth and our association. We promise many more meetings.

O our great leader, we have worked with all our strength to preserve the legacy you have left us so
far. We trained and improved ourselves in science, technology, art and sports. We did not turn a
blind eye to injustice in the name of justice and equality, our voice was always loud and our reaction
was clear. We faced various difficulties and struggles at a young age, and we never lost our love and
hope for our country. As the youth to whom you entrusted the Republic, we will set today, this
century, as a milestone and, in your light, we will raise the Turkish nation to the level of

contemporary civilizations. We will continue to carry this torch on the path of democracy you opened
for us until future generations take over from us.

O father of the Turkish Nation, we, the contemporary Youth, who are the children of you and the
Turkish civilization, continued our duty no matter what the circumstances. We swear that in the
future, we will continue the glorious struggle from liberation to modernization for our nation, our
freedom and the fully independent Republic of Turkey, with all our strength, relying on the noble
blood in our veins.
