November 25 International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

The devastating increase in violence against women in our country is not independent of violence in every aspect of our lives

• legal changes leading to the abolishment of human rights of women gained with the Republic; especially attempts of regression on rights achieved by Civil Law

•Moving away from secular education; language and comments of Religious Affairs Administration against women rights

• Statements and attitudes showing that women are not accepted as individuals

LEAD TO THE INCREASE  IN VIOLATION OF WOMEN HUMAN RIGHTS

We will continue to campaign until policies to eliminate violence are made and implemented.
