The birthday event, organized in cooperation with our Headquarters, Beşiktaş Municipality, Boğaziçi Arnavutköy Association and Arnavutköy Neighborhood Headman's Office, was held with a large turnout.

Our President Prof. Dr. Ayşe Yüksel, Beşiktaş Municipality Deputy Mayor Özge Belen, Boğaziçi Arnavutköy Association President İsmail Üstün, Arnavutköy Neighborhood Headman Hilmi Külhancı, CHP İstanbul Women's Branch members, GMYK members, our Contemporary Youth Center Unit, branch representatives, our students, Türkan Hoca's friends, loved ones and Arnavutköy neighbors attended the event.

The program began with the reading of the letter addressed by Çağdaş Gençlik to our unforgettable General President Prof. Dr. Türkan Saylan. Then, Arnavutköy Neighborhood Headman Hilmi Külhancı, Boğaziçi Arnavutköy Association President İsmail Üstün, our General President Prof. Dr. Ayşe Yüksel and Beşiktaş Municipality Deputy Mayor Özge Belen made their speeches.

After the speeches, the song written for our teacher Türkan was sung by the members of our ÇYDD Göktürk Branch and a cake was cut in memory of our teacher's birthday.

The event ended with the telling of memories about our teacher Türkan and a group photo.

As the Çağdaş Yaşamı Destekleme Derneği (Contemporary Life Support Association), we will continue to keep the memories, legacy and struggle of our teacher Türkan alive, as we have done until today.
