She was born in 1959 in Erzincan. Also, she is the daughter of a teacher father from the Village Institute.
She graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Geophysical Engineering in 1982.
She worked as a geophysical engineer for 27 years at the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSI) and retired in 2013. She specialized in earthquake risk in engineering structures.
She worked as a member of the ÇYDD Ankara Branch on September 26, 1995, a member of the board of directors between 1996-1998, and the head of the Youth Unit.
She became the mother of thought of the first Youth Congress and organized it. She also organized the third youth convention. She started working at ÇYDD Ümitköy-Çayyolu Branch on January 27, 2004.
She worked as the head of the Youth Unit of the branch. She worked as a project manager for two years in the "From Ümitköy to Lalahan Support for Contemporary Education Project" to support primary and secondary school students in their social activities and lessons, which she carried out with scholarship university students. She worked on a mentoring project.
She worked as a commissioner in the 20th-anniversary celebration activities of ÇYDD Ümitköy-Çayyolu Branch and in the preparation of the 20th Anniversary Book. At ÇYDD Ümitköy-Çayyolu Branch, she made presentations to scholarship students on different subjects (Volunteering, Non-Governmental Organizations, and ÇYDD, Village Institutes, Recent Political History of Turkey, International Women's Day, etc.) in many projects, and organized the presentations of students. She gave training to the members of the association and volunteers on earthquake preparedness.
She worked in the Education and Disaster units as an alternate member of the Headquarters Board of Directors in the period 2019-2021.
She works to maintain communication with alumni and to have them take part in projects.
She is a member of the TMMOB Chamber of Geophysical Engineers and she is married.
